Four TRKP Students Take Part in INAMARINE 2026, Indonesia’s Largest Maritime Exhibition

Jakarta — Four students from the Shipbuilding Construction Engineering Technology (TRKP) Study Program took part in The 14th Indonesia International Shipbuilding, Offshore, Marine, Machinery & Services Exhibition, or INAMARINE 2026, held on July 28–30, 2026, at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta. The four students are Elleonora Shannon Anabelle, Putri Aulia Halim, Bakti Satya Suwandani, and Radja Luqman Khalis.

INAMARINE is known as Indonesia’s largest annual international maritime exhibition, covering the shipbuilding, offshore, safety, and welding industries. In its 14th edition, INAMARINE is co-located with several complementary exhibitions, including the Indonesia Boat Show, INAWELDING, INACOATING, and Safe Indonesia 2026, offering a comprehensive one-stop solution for the entire maritime industry ecosystem in a single venue. This collaboration makes INAMARINE 2026 an increasingly comprehensive event, bringing together hundreds of local and international companies operating across various segments of the marine industry.

At the exhibition, visitors could explore a wide range of leading sectors within the maritime and offshore industries, including:

  • Shipyard & Shipbuilding — technologies and services for ship construction and repair
  • Welding Equipment — welding tools and solutions
  • Offshore Industry — systems and equipment supporting the offshore sector
  • Marine Equipment — marine gear and systems
  • Safety Equipment — safety equipment for shipping and navigation
  • Navigation Satellite — satellite navigation and communication systems
  • Marine Engine — ship engines and propulsion systems
  • Yacht and Boat — yachts and boats

Over the three days of the event, exhibitors showcased their latest innovations and technologies, ranging from next-generation ship propulsion systems and more efficient hull construction materials and techniques, to digitalization solutions for ship operations management. The bustling atmosphere, drawing industry players from various countries, reflected the scale and influence of INAMARINE as a showcase of maritime technology development in Southeast Asia.

For the four TRKP students, participating in INAMARINE 2026 was a valuable opportunity to broaden their understanding of the latest technological developments in the shipbuilding and maritime industries, learning directly from industry practitioners. The visit also opened opportunities to build networks with various shipyards, maritime equipment providers, and research institutions present at the exhibition — connections that could prove beneficial for their future studies and careers.

Furthermore, an international-scale exhibition of this kind is expected to give students additional insight into the future direction of the national shipbuilding industry. Direct exposure to cutting-edge technologies and industry trends is also believed to inspire the research and scientific papers the students are currently developing in shipbuilding engineering — particularly those related to hydrodynamic efficiency, propulsion systems, and environmentally friendly technologies, which are now a key focus of the global maritime industry.
